A mű 100 rézm. táblával teljes, példányunkból hiányzik 7 tábla, valamint a 39-40., 111-112., a 137-146. és a 155-156 oldal.
Abraham a Santa Clara (1644-1709) osztrák katolikus hitszónok, író. Az ellenreformáció belső vallási megújulásának népi hangvételű írásaiban a „nép tanítójaként” ostorozza az egyházi és világi személyek hibáit. Mondanivalója és a barokk dagályosságba vegyülő vaskos osztrák népi humorból táplálkozó szókincse egyaránt a német nyelvű barokk próza legeredetibb képviselőjévé avatja. A „mezítlábos barát” prédikációiban, röpirataiban szemléletes, élő korképet ad.
Korabeli, dúsan aranyozott gerincű egészbőr kötésben. Megkímélt állapotú, szép példány. Folio.
