This Catholic sermon volume is a lesser-known work by the Jesuit translator of the first complete Hungarian Catholic Bible, published long after his death. According to Judit V. Ecsedy, only the first and last two leaves were printed at this time, the rest had already been printed around 1640. The work was issued at the initiative of Bishop Lipót Kollonich of Wiener Neustadt (later Archbishop of Esztergom). Although numerous copies survive in public collections, it rarely appears on the market.
Restored, 20th-century half leather with marbled endpapers.
