Illusztrált antológia az angol költészet, és néhány névtelen költő (feltehetően a kötet szerkesztői) verseiből. Részleteket közöl Byron, Thomas Campbell, Shakespeare, Shelley, Wordsworth és mások költeményeiből. Az acélmetszetű portré-illusztrációkat W. Boxall, A. E. Chalon, Edwin Landseer, E. T. Parris, J. W. Wright és mások festményei alapján metszették. Minden tábla előtt védő hártyapapír.
Korabeli, díszesen aranyozott gerincű, vaknyomásos fekete egészmaroquin kötésben, festett lapszélekkel. Nagyon szép példány.
