Montesquieu legjelentősebb munkájának, A törvények szellemének egykorú, francia nyelvű kiadása. Először 1748-ban jelent meg.
A négy kötet egységes, díszesen aranyozott gerincű korabeli egészbőr-kötésben, festett lapszélekkel. Kifogástalan állapotú, nagyon szép példány.
