Pozsonyban és Pesten, 1805. Füskúti Landerer Mihály. 1pl(s).+199+(1)p. With engraved vignette on title page. (Téli és nyári könyvtár. I. darab.)
The rare first Hungarian edition of the world-famous adventures of Baron Münchhausen. The unknown translator adapted the story to Hungarian circumstances (even the hero himself became Hungarian).
Signed, yellow leather. Leather inlays on the covers depict the scene of the protagonist’s journey on a cannonball. In hardpaper case. The original cover bearing the series title (with the rear one) bound inside.
Dimensions: 190 × 115 mm.
