Akvatinta, jelezve a kép alatti bal, ill. jobb sarokban: [Karl Joseph] Kuwasseg rajz[olta], Martens metz[ette] Párisban. Megjelent 1842-ben Pesten, Grimm Vinczénél. Mérete: 156x228 mm, a lemezméret: 248x306 mm, a teljes lapméret: 275x396 mm.
A képen az az Alcantarai Szent Péter-ferences templom homlokzat-részlete és a templom déli oldalához csatlakozó régi egyetemi könyvtár, jobbra a „Nereida”-kút. Példányunk az 1842-ben, Grimm Vincénél megjelent hatlapos sorozat egyik darabja, amelynek rajzairól Martens öt, Hürlimann pedig egy aquatintát készített.

Nagyon szép állapotú lap, paszpartuban. Rendkívül ritka, tudomásunk szerint az elmúlt negyven évben árverésen nem szerepelt.
