A kötet szerzője, Szentmiklósi Óvári Báró Pon­grátz Emil (Mohora, 1842. február 13. – Buda­pest, 1886. február 11.) magyar császári és ki­rályi kamarás, a pénzügyi közigazgatási bí­ró­ság kinevezett ítélőbírája, útirajzíró. Úton-útfélen” címmel (Bp., 1875) két kötetben jelentette meg útirajzait, ami nagy visszhangot keltett a magyar arisztokrácia köreiben.
Aranyozott gerinccímkével ellátott, későbbi félbőr-kötésben. 177 mm.
