Quæ ad superiores editiones hâc postremâ, omnium emendatissima locupletissimáque recèns addita sunt, statim post ipsius authoris præfationem ad Regem Christianiss. inserta ad lectorem admonitio breuiter indicat. Genevæ, 1618, Iacobum Stoer. [32]p, 541 számozott levél, [166]p. Címlapja hiányos, pótolt. A [11-12]. levél margója a szövegig levágva. A szövegben több helyen korabeli aláhúzásokkal. Kálvin, huszonhat éves korában írt fő műve, amelyet aztán egész életében bővített és átdolgozott. Az Institutio Christianæ religionis („A keresztény vallás rendszere”) 1536-ban, Bázelben jelent meg először. A reformáció alapvető kézikönyve lett egész Európában. Korabeli pergamenkötésben, festett és díszesen poncolt könyvtesttel. 20 cm.
