A kiadó előszavából kiderül, hogy az 1831-ben megírt munka a cenzúra miatt itthon nem jelenhetett meg. A kiadó a szerzőtől nem kapott meghatalmazást a kiadásra, „A’ amit cselekszem egyedül a saját akaratombul ’s elhatározásombul forr-.”
