1955 Stockholm, a Karolinska Institutet (Karolinska Intézet, régebben Svéd Királyi Orvostudományi Egyetem; az orvosi Nobel-bizottság szerepét ellátó intézmény) levele Dr. Baló József (1895-1979) Kossuth-díjas orvos, patológus, az MTA tagja részére, amelyben felkérik, hogy ajánljon egy jelöltet az 1956. évi orvosi Nobel-díjra. Négy nyelven (angol, német, francia, svéd), az utolsó oldalon az orvosi Nobel-bizottság tagjainak nyomtatott aláírásaival, illetve Göran Liljestrand (1886-1968) svéd farmakológus, a Karolinska Institut titkárának saját kezű aláírásával. (Dr. Baló József jelöltje Dr. Jancsó Miklós (1903-1966) Kossuth-díjas farmakológus, hisztokémikus, fiziológus volt, a díjat azonban megosztva André Frédéric Cournand, Werner Forßmann és Dickinson W. In four languages (English, German, French, Swedish), with printed signatures of the members of the Nobel-Comittee for Phsysiology and Medicine, and autograph signature of Göran Liljestrand (1886-1968) Swedish pharmacologist, secretary of the Karolinska Institutet, on the last page. (Dr. Baló nominated Dr. Miklós Jancsó (1903-1966), but in the end the prize was shared by André Frédéric Cournand, Werner Forßmann and Dickinson W. Richards.)
