1848 Gyermekgyógyászi bizonyítvány Schäffer Andor sebészmester részére, Pest, Junius 6-kán, 1848. A Pesti Gyermekgyógyintézet főorvosa és igazgatója, Schöpf(-Merei) Ágost, (1804-1858) orvos- és sebészdoktor, gyermekgyógyász autográf aláírásával, töredezett viaszpecséttel, hajtott, szakadásokkal. Schöpf (Schoepf)-Mérei Ágost orvos, gyermekgyógyász. 1836-ban ortopédiai intézetet, majd 1839-ben gyermekkórházat alapított. 1848-49-es szabadságharcban, mint katonaorvos szolgált az Olasz Légióban, majd annak leverése után emigrált. Manchesterben telepedett le, mint gyermekorvos, ahol kórházat is alapított. 1848 Pediatrician certificate, with autograph signature of August Schöpf-Mérei. In the revolution of 1848-49 he worked as military doctor in the Italian Legion. After the revolution he lived in Manchester and worked as pediatrician.
