Panorama der Oesterreichischen Monarchie, oder malerisch-romantisches Denkbuch... Dritter Band. Pesth und Leipzig, 1840. C. A. Hartleben. 279 l. 32 l. 36 t. (acélmetszetek). A mű három kötetben teljes. Minden tábla előtt védő hártyapapírral. Korabeli félbőr-kötésben. Franz Carl Weidmann (1788-1867) osztrák író, újságíró. Verseket, drámákat írt. Évtizedekig dolgozott színházi kritikusként. Fél évszázadon keresztül volt Bécs életének krónikása. József főhercegnek köszönhetően beutazta Ausztria nagy részét. 1839-40-ben mások közreműködésével írta meg a Monarchia festői városait és tájait bemutató nagy munkáját. A kötetben a következő magyar lapok találhatók: Kassa, Tihany, Árva vára. Ezenkívül Velence, Milánó, Prága, Cremona, Bergamo és Zara acélmetszetű képeivel.
