Korabeli keménykötésben, jó állapotban.

A XIX. század első felében a magyar iskolai oktatás latinul folyt, így tanították a magyar nyelvet is. A Helytartótanács 1814-ben bízta meg Verseghy Ferencet, hogy a magyar iskolák számára nyelvtanokat írjon. Így került sor 1816-ban az „Epitome Institutionum Grammaticarum Linguae Hungaricae” [A magyar nyelv grammatikai szabályainak foglalata] című, hangtant és alaktant tartalmazó munkájának kiadására, amely az anyagot a második osztálytól kezdve a gimnázium öt osztálya számára öt kötetre osztotta el.
