Pesth, 1836. Gustav Heckenast. VI+(1)+8-80p.
A rarely seen piece of the prehistory of the Chain Bridge. We know almost nothing about the author, according to Szinnyei, his work was banned. 1836 was a very important year in terms of the permanent bridge to be built between Pest and Buda. On May 2, the king sanctioned Article XXVI of the 1836 law: "On the construction of a permanent bridge between Buda and Pest." On June 15, Széchenyi's call for tenders was published, and in October, the count called on Baron György Sina to participate in the construction of the Chain Bridge.
