A szerző (1738–1818) jezsuita szerzetes, régész, egyetemi tanár, a magyar numizmatikai irodalom egyik első művelője volt. Jelen munkája a magyar uralkodók pénzeinek története, a kezdetektől a XVIII. század végéig, részletes leírásokkal és közel 400 érem mindkét oldalának rézmetszetű rajzával. Korabeli, díszesen aranyozott, bordázott gerincű bőrkötésben. Gerincen kisebb sérüléssel, de összességében szép példány. 25,8 cm. Pataky: 84.p./33.
