Wilhelm Ramming von Riedkirchen (1815-1876) osztrák ezredes, Haynau beosztottja, aki előbb Bresciaban tüntette ki magát, majd felettese hívására a magyar hadszíntérre került 1849 tavaszán, ahol részt vett egy sor csatában és hadműveletben. Az itt szerzett hadiélményeit jelentette meg könyv formájában 1850-ben. Ritka. Pesth, 1850. Gedruckt bei Landerer und Heckenast. VII, 549 l. A műhöz megjelent külön 6 csatavázlat is, ezek példányunkból hiányoznak. Belülről a gerinc a könyvtesttől elválik. gerinc Korabeli félvászon-kötésben.
