A Németországban és Svájcban élő mohafajokat részletesen ismertető kétkötetes mű táblakötete, önálló címlapja nincs, a könyvhöz tartozó összes táblát tartalmazza. A dekoratív, aprólékosan kidolgozott, szépen színezett eredeti rézkarcokat Jacob Sturm metszette.
Korabeli, vaknyomásos, három bordára fűzött, díszesen aranyozott gerincű félbőr kötésben, gerincén Germanica virányai felirattal (Czobor Ödön könyvkötőnél). Jó állapotú, szép példány, nagyon ritka könyv. Lásd: Studio Antikvárium 16/40.
