Mint az árverésünkön szereplő értesítőkből is kiderül, az adott időszakban a nagykőrösi főgimnázium tanári karában helyet foglalt (többek között) Arany János, Szabó Károly, Szilágyi Sándor, Mentovich Ferenc, Ádám Gerzson és Ballagi Károly is. Ebben az időben egyik vidéki gimnázium sem büszkélkedhetett hasonlóan rangos tanári karral. Az értesítők egyenként, kötés nélkül. A borítólapok néhol kissé gyűröttek, ettől eltekintve megkímélt állapotú példányok.
