A szerző e munkája az egyik első magyar helységnévtár, mely történeti és gazdasági adatokat is tartalmaz. A mellékelt térkép is a szerző munkája, amit külön e műhöz készített.
Korabeli félbőr-kötésben, a gerincen aranyozott címkével. A kötés kissé viseltes, a lapjai tiszták, épek.
