Korabeli, bordázott félbőr kötésben, nyomtatott címkével, festett lapszélekkel. Címlapja pótolt, a könyvtest szép. 36 cm.
Az ajánlás első lapja alján ,,Petr Kubinyi” névbeírás.
Istvánffy Miklós (1538–1615) történetíró, az ország nádora. Híres munkájában Magyarország 1490–1613 közötti történelmét dolgozza fel. Mind a mai napig a XVI. század történetének fontos forrása. Ez az első kiadás, igen ritka.
