“Kovács Dénes szerint ennek szerzője nem Gvadányi” írja Petrik (BH I/953.), de V. Ecsedy megállapítása szerint “Katona tévesen tulajdonította Berei Farkas Andrásnak, akinek valóban van hasonló című, de eltérő tartalmú munkája... Nyomdai kiállítása alapján az eperjesi Pape nyomdában készült”. (V. Ecsedy 170.)
A mű rendkívüli ritkaságára jellemző, hogy tudomásunk szerint árverésen még nem szerepelt, V.Ecsedy szerint 11 példánya ismert csak!
Címkézett gerincű későbbi félvászon kötésben, kifogástalan állapotban.
