(Venetiis, 1498. p. Christoferum de pensis dictum Mandello.) (64)p. Az utolsó levél üres. A Dionysius Africanus néven is emlegetett ókori szerző egyes források szerint Hadrianus császár idejében élt, mások ezt a Kr. u. III. századra teszik. A középkorban rendkívül népszerű munkájában egy képzeletbeli utazás keretében írja le az akkor ismert világot, hexameteres versformában. A latin fordítás a veronai humanista, Antonio Beccaria műve. Nyomtatásban először 1470-ben jelent meg, ez a fordítás pedig 1477-ben látott napvilágot első ízben (görögül csak 1512-ben adták ki). Még a XVI. században is kedvelt volt, néhány baseli kiadásában Honterus Cosmographiája is szerepel. A magyar őstörténetírás szempontjából érdekes, hogy megemlíti a Kaszpi-tenger északi partján élő hunokat. Modern félpergamen-kötésben. GW 8428.; ISTC id00255000.
