Kétszínnyomású címlappal, rézmetszettel, 1760-as poss bejegyzéssel. Egyik legkorábbi, az ősi magyar írást vizsgáló nyelvészeti munkájában Bél a rovásírásról értekezik. Németországi tapasztalatai alapján úttörőként veti fel egy tudós társaság szükségességét.
Dúsan aranyozott gerincű, korabeli félbőr-kötésben, festett lapszélekkel. Szép példány, szedéstükrei enyhén barnultak.
