The work of the Jesuit author, reissued in 1720 with his name on the title page. Izabella Horváth describes it as a “mixed-content prayer book, a typical ascetic publication of the late 17th century, standing at the crossroads of prayer book, spiritual guide, devotional reading, and collection of meditations.” The place of printing is often given as Nagyszombat, although Baranyi lived in the Jesuit house at Gyulafehérvár and the patron was Mihály Mikes of Székelyföld. Judit Ecsedy has identified it as a Csíksomlyó imprint.
Restored contemporary leather. Spine replaced, one clasp missing. Some leaves stained and repaired, affecting text on the title page.
