A fürdőt 1860-ban ómoraviczai Heinrich Nepomuk János (1818–88) orvosdoktor, a Ferenc József-rend lovagja vette meg. A Heinrich család Ybl Miklós tervei alapján 1864–65-ben felújíttatta, majd 1869–70-ben kibővíttette az épületet, ekkor készültek a romantikus stílusú medencék is. A kor egyik legmodernebb és legszebb gyógyfürdője volt.
Nagyon ritka nyomtatvány, gerincnél papírcsíkkal erősítve, jó állapotban.
