Conditions of sale

Tho lots called up are in succession as in the catalogue. Protected objects (marked: VÉDETT) cannot be exported. In case of absentee bids are accepted by phone or telefax by giving the highest bidding price until 2 p.m. on the day od sale. Orders can be placed by the auctionist who will also represent those who cannot attend the auction personally. We notify the customers of their succesful purchases by phone or telefax in closing the relevant invoice. The buyer has to pay a 20% commission added to the hammer price up to the value of 20000 huf. Over 22000 huf as a final bid reduced percentages are to ba paid - see the table in the hungarian text. Works of art are subject to an extra royality tax, that is 5%. The buyer has to pay the purchase price in cash. The prices are quoted "ex-Gallery Budapest".

The buyer has to leave instructions immediately after the sale on how and where the bought items are to be shipped. The ownership of the lot purchased shall not pass to the buyer until payment has been made in full. There is no refundable VAT in the bill! Prices re quoted in Hungarian currency (HUF) and will by converted into the desired convertible currency at the official rate of exchange on the day of purchase. Delivery: immediately upon receipt of full payment. Importatant: it is also possible to bid simmultaneously by phone during the auction. In case of interest, please contact our Gallery.
