Zsolnay Ornamental Plate
Wheel thrown white ceramic. On surface, blooming holly tree branches painted with colored and metallescent eosin glazes. Map cracked at mouth rim, tiny dent on base. Marked on bottom: pressed in clay 179 (form number, year 1880), and round, small, stamp-like branding with the same color as the coating. Zsolnay, Pécs, around 1900. Diameter: 15 cm
