Official poster of the 12th – due to World War II postponed – Olympic Games in Helsinki. It was designed by the Finnish artist Ilimari Sysimetsä and published by A. B. F. Tilgmann. Interestingly, the games held in the Finnish capital twelve years later were also promoted with this design.
