The author's most famous, programmatic work of the reform movement that began in the 1830s, and is one of the most important pieces of Hungarian economic literature. According to Szentkirályi's bibliography, it was printed on three types of paper, this copy being the rare, thick-paper luxury version.
A piece of the Reformation era, but perhaps one of The most significant work of the Reformation era and perhaps the Hungarian history itself. Preserved in such perfect condition, it is in itself a standout item at any auction, and if it also contains the greatest Hungarian autograph dedication, we can already talk about a real sensation. However, the recipient of the dedication here is not just anyone, but a close family member. Széchenyi's mother was Count Julianna Festetich . Her brother was Imre, referred to as the father of Hungarian genetics, whose firstborn child, Borbála – Széchenyi's cousin – later became the wife of Count Vilmos Hadik of Futak. The letter opposite the title page contains the dedication to her: M. Count Festetich Borbála, with deepest respect, Gr. István Széchenyi". The subsequent fate of the volume also holds excitement: the title page is adorned with Count Leó Festetich, and below the dedication, the collection stamp of one of our country's greatest art collectors, Ernst Lajos, adorns the item.
