S. M. D. Achilles oldalkerekes gőzüzemű vontatóhajó télen a befagyott Dunán, Johann Eilingsfeld kapitány felvétele / "ACHILLES" paddle steamer tug in winter in the frozen Danube with the captain. Achilles was requisitioned in 1916 by the Zentraltransportleitung (ZTL) for service in the Danube. In 1918, she was returned to DDSG. In 1942, she was transferred to the Hrvatsko riječno brodarstvo of Zagreb, Croatia, and renamed Sava. In June 1944, the former Achilles was sunk by a mine near Surduk, in the Serbian Voivodina, at the Danube River kilometer marker 1,208.00. Johann Eilingsfeld Captain photo (b)
