(Ferenc József korabeli portréja), XII, 286 l. Korabeli bordázott gerincű félbőr-kötésben, márványozott lapszélekkel. A kötet csak monogrammal megjelölt fordítója azt írja az előszóban, hogy a námet kéziratból fordított mű a "magyar polgárháború" osztrák résztvevőinek szemszögéből mutatja be a történteket, az "audiatur et altera pars" (halgattassék meg a másik fél is) nevében. Az előzményekhez tudni kell, hogy Kossuth rendkívüli népszerűséget élvezett Angliában is. A fordítás 1850-ben készült el. Ritka.
