The item is the author's only and not very successful novel. Petőfi wrote the work in the spring of 1846 in Szalkszentmárton, where his parents rented an inn and a slaughterhouse. This period is called the poet's crisis period in literary history.
Contemporary hardpaper. Some leaves stained.
