Kiadói félvászon kötésben, illusztrált, szélein kissé kopottas kötéstáblákkal. Az első szövegoldalon a lapszélen 8 mm-es szakadással.

PETREZSELYEM Mihály (1888-1960) törökszentmiklósi születésű festő, grafikus. Budapesti tanulmányai után Amerikába emigrált. Egy New York-i reklámcégnél találkozott későbbi feleségével, Maud-dal. A párnak egy év múlva megszületett Miki nevű kisfiuk, ettől kezdve gyermekkönyvek készítésével foglalkoztak. A Miki című könyv kisfiuk képzeletbeli magyarországi utazásáról szól, és (1929-es első kiadása) az első könyvük számos későbbi gyermekkönyvük sorában.
