Budán, 1847. Magyar Kir. Egyetem ny. (4)+160p. With charming intertextual woodcut illustrations. First edition.
A scarce work, never traced in auction records. Even the collection of Dénes Szüry contained only a copy of the second edition, published after the outbreak of the Revolution. The value of this copy is further enhanced by the author’s dedication to the renowned music historian and librarian of the National Library, Gábor Mátray: „Tekintetes Mátray Gábor nemzeti muzeumi könyvtárőr urnak barátsággal Döbrentei Gábor Buda, septemb. 18. 1847.” (To the Honourable Gábor Mátray, National Museum librarian, with friendship. Gábor Döbrentei. Buda, September 18, 1847).
