The first monograph of the county. The author was a Lutheran pastor in Csetnek, later a senior pastor, and has numerous historical works to his name. This work is also important from a cartographic point of view, as the map he created is the first map of the county. It is extremely decorative, with charming, naive figures at the bottom. In addition, as it describes in detail the Aggtelek and Domica caves located in the southern tip of the county, the floor plan of these caves can also be seen at the bottom of the sheet under the title "Topographia Cavernarum ad Agtelek et Büdöstó". It is extremely rare, to our knowledge, only one complete copy has appeared at auction in the last half-century, and that was more than 20 years ago.
Signed, dark green leather, with the silhouette of the Gömör mountains, featuring Krasznahorka Castle on the front cover, and an orange title on the spine. In hardpaper case.
