Fenestellae de magistratibus, Sacerdotiísque Romanorum libellus, iam primúm nitori suo restitutus. Lugdunum, 1591. lacobum Chouët. 166 p. 4 sztl. lev. (index). Korabeli, bordázott gerincű egészpergamen kötésben. (Laetus olasz humanista és filologus, szül. Salernóban 1425., megh. Rómában 1497. A salernói herceg törvénytelen gyermeke volt, s miután szülővárosának egyetemén tanult, Rómába ment Lorenzo Valla előadásait hallgatni, aki maga mellé vette a katedrára a rendkívül ékesen szóló ifjút. Valla halála után Laetus egyedül töltötte be a katedrát. Irodalmilag nem igen működött, e téren legnagyobb érdeme, hogy Vergilius műveinek első kritikai kiadását sajtó alá rendezte. Mint tanár és régiségbúvár a reneszánsz legkiválóbb tudósa volt, s előadásainak köszönhető, hogy a humanizmust Olaszországban annyira felkarolták.)
