Pesten, 1809. Hartleben Konrád Adolf. (2)+156+71+8+(8)p.+VIII folding appx(s). With woodcut coat-of-arms on title page.
On 3 March, Emperor Francis I instructed Palatine Joseph to prepare the call to arms of the Hungarian noble insurrection, and on 11 April he ordered the mobilization. Since the noble levies had no military experience and were unfamiliar even with the basic rules of warfare or the commands, scholars appointed by the Palatine, as commander-in-chief of the insurrection, quickly compiled several such regulations, each also translated into German.
