“Csizió” comes from the first word of the medieval calendars - Cisio Janus. Cisio is the New Year (circumcisio Domini - Circumcision of the Lord), and Janus is the abbreviation of the month Januarius. In the 18th and 19th centuries, the Landerer workshop published these books. However, in 1833, after the death of Anna Landerer, the workshop was taken over by its previous manager, József Gyurián, and his partner, Márton Bagó.
