Az ismert kompozíció (R. de Hooghe, Gaspar Bouttats, J. Ch Haffner; Rózsa 2/156, 156.d.) hazai szakirodalom által ismeretlen változata.
Metszetünk az ismert felvételekhez képest finomabb, kifejezetten művészi kidolgozású. Érdekesség, hogy könyvben megjelent társaival ellentétben a jelmagyarázat magán a lapon (lent a keret alatt, 9 hasábos tördeléssel) jelenik meg. Jelentős eltérésként az előtér csoportképének magyarázata a kép megfelelő helyén. (“His Highness the Duke of Lorrain with the other Generals examing ye [the] Spanish engineers Bombs Carcasses ecc.”). A képen lévő jelzetek itt 1-54 helyett A-E + 1-52.
Szép, tiszta levonat, középütt hajtásnyommal, a jelmagyarázat alján apró javítással.
